In completely unrelated fashion news, myself and Emma are doing our final half marathon of the year on the 24th of November in memory of a very special little girl, Isabelle. We started running this time last year in preparation for the Liverpool Half Marathon in March 2013, we haven’t really stopped running since. Take this from me I am no born-runner. I hated it in school and I probably hated it for most of this year. They say it takes 12 months to really start to make progress in running. However I don’t want to bore you with these tales but instead share some pictures from my running year featuring our beautiful city in moonlight, me and the sister after a tunnel 10K, miracle green juice, dawn calling this summer in the form of a neon pink hues and myself and Emma at the Warrington half marathon in September.
This will be the toughest run because the weather says freezing, the route is unknown and our training has been more interval than distance. However we are running to raise as much money as possible for Alder Hey. As a patron of the hospital it is a charity close to my heart. Isabelle is the daughter of my partner’s cousin. Her parents have set up a justgiving page to raise as much as they can for the unit that took great care of their daughter.
Any donation is welcome and greatly appreciated.
