The KD team have been scouting around Liverpool today and found a handful of girls with stylish personalities. They have been personally asked by us to select a KD dress from the collection, interpret their own individual style and model it to showcase the diverse fashion that surrounds Liverpool. Before Georgia – ‘Sheer Fabulous’ Location: Jamaica Street Following top style trends of spring and summer, sheer panels are not fading away anytime soon. A hint a sexiness is shown through the white sweater, whilst keeping it plain and simple, teaming it up with patterned slip-on shoes and accessories give it that pop of style and colour. Satana – ‘Simplistically Cute’ Location: Church Street Suit and Tie? No… it’s all about Bows and Nikes. This funky combination of smart meets sporty stood out to the team not just because of her bright pink shoes. Putting this together shows that ties are not only for special occasions and trainers are not only for exercising. Sporting for style! Claudia – ‘Trendy Trooper’ Location: Quiggins Settling into summer and the British weather, this outfit is the perfect combination. Shorts and sunglasses for the sunny days. Camo jacket and boots to prepare for the unpredictable rainy days. It’s a win-win situation! Beth – Blooming Effortless Location: Bold Street Dressed head-to-toe in high street brands, Beth looks effortlessly cool in her knitted long sleeve top and floral trousers. Loose fit clothes. Birkenstock styled sandals. Fashion has never been so comfy and relaxed. It’s all about mixing and matching not just colours or patterns, texture is the next big thing! Molly – ‘Mega Magenta’ Location: Jamaica Street We are loving this magenta sweater as it complements her hair and skin tone! Mixing it with hound tooth pants and flat scandals, Molly holds the perfect formula of street style sophistication. These are our 5 girls, watch this space to see how some will transform KD dresses in their own stylish way!
Former Corrie actress walked down the red carpet on Saturday, looking amazing and showing of her gorgeous figure in a bespoke Kirsty Doyle Lemon LD bustier dress.
Shobna styled her KD creation with a sleek cream clutch, and a chunky braclet. She kept her make-up to a nude and brown colour palette, while letting her hair fall loosely on her shoulders.
The actress’s red carpet look received some lovely comments, including from stylist Grace Wooward who voted her best dress of the evening and we totally agree. She looked gorgeous.
Can you believe it, Shobna’s clutch costs just £20 from boohoo.com. So cheap you can buy one in each colour. A great buy!!

Stick with us as we have some amazing things happening in 2013.
As you know we are working on a new wedding collection for 2013. Here are a few snaps from the toile shoot we did last week. You can expect a return to our hand finished aesthetic; folding and pleating 3D shapes. These photographs are of the dresses in their mock-up stage in the studio but we wanted to share them on the blog to get you excited about what is to come for 2013!
Everyone has loved the headpiece we used on the editorial shoot, I made it using faux flowers believe it or not! Most customer queries thought the piece was made using real flowers. It is simply pinned into the hair using hair grips and a little back combing. I think these look stunning on both the bride and the bridesmaid – the bridesmsaids could have different colours and slightly smaller flowers, all headpieces are made bespoke and to order.
