This season bumps were quite the feature at Fashion Weeks all over the world. With Miroslava Duma, Yasmin Sewell and Eva Chen’s pregnancy style being more fashion forward, it inspires me to see how they work current runway styles (Eva Chen in Christopher Kane) into a look that fits and flatters a growing bump.

I do love how well floor length works for the red carpet, some starlets go for fitted and others, floaty. In my opinion it would depend on where you are in your pregnancy and how you would like to show it off.

And then there was Blake..

Blake Lively seems to have come trailblazing into the pregnancy style stratosphere with form flattering red carpet looks and daytime trends that mix clashing patterns, shorter hemlines and look-again outerwear. However there seems to be a shock from the media, somewhat unexpected, that somehow pregnant women can be glamourous, fashionable and …. dare I say it sexy!

I like what Blake is doing and how she is dressing for herself, adapting her pre-pregancy looks to suit her new shape. You shouldn’t have to sacrifice your original style just becuase you are pregnant.
